For our European subsidiary LG Energy Solution Europe GmbH in Sulzbach (Taunus) we are looking for a:
Business Development Manager ESS Residential (m/f/d) Primary job responsibilities Market Analysis & Strategy Development:
Conduct market research to identify and develop new business opportunities in the Residential Battery, Small C&I and Solar system sectors
Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to shape go-to-market strategies
Sales & Business Growth:
Build and maintain strong relationships with utility companies, energy service providers, inverter companies, installers and technology partners
Lead end-to-end deal structuring, from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closing
Develop strategic partnerships and channel networks to expand market reach
Work closely with the engineering and product development teams in LGES HQ to prepare a technical & commercial proposal and ensure product offerings aligned with client requirements and internal standards
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote offerings and brand visibility
Report on KPIs, sales forecasts, and business development metrics to Sales head
Professional and personal competences
University degree in economics, chemistry, electrical engineering or a related field
Minimum of 3 years work experience in business development, project engineering, or solution engineering, preferably in renewable energy sector
Deep technical background and essential knowledge of Li‑Ion batteries, inverters and PV system and integration with renewable energy sources
Proven success in building new sales channels. An existing network in renewable energy sector (Energy service provider, inverter company, installers etc.) would be an advantage
Professional German and English language
Excellent technical writing, editing, and presentation skills
Professional, highly motivated individual with a strong results-oriented work ethic
An ability to travel extensively throughout across EU countries
