Active RN license
5+ years experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility or as a District/Regional Nurse Consultant (long‑term care)
Strong background in building teams & cultivating a positive workplace culture
Certifications in Infection Prevention/Control and MDS (preferred)
Responsibilities Manages day‑to‑day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident healthcare needs are met. Supervises licensed nurses and direct care staff, plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operations of the Clinical Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Oversees assessment of comprehensive nursing needs, coordinates care plans, monitors quality indicators, provides training and supervision, and participates in community surveys and quality improvement activities. Travels 100% within the division as assigned.
Qualifications
RN license
5+ years skilled nursing experience as a Director of Nursing or District/Regional Nurse Consultant
Certification in Infection Prevention/Control and RAI process preferred
Basic typing skills and working knowledge of personal computing and word processing software
