Senior Accountant / Accounting Supervisor
to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities Core Accounting & Reporting
Lead month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to GAAP.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Assist with consolidated financial statements and internal management reporting.
Work with the leadership team with the development of the budget & quarter‑ly forecast.
Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for financial fluctuations.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls across accounting processes.
Supervisory & Leadership
Serve as a resource for technical accounting questions and problem‑solving.
Help build a collaborative, accountable, and high‑performing team culture.
Process Improvement & Operational Support
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.
Support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and documentation of procedures.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Compliance & Audit
Coordinate with external CPA firm
Assist with tax‑related schedules and compliance requirements as needed.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally working for a small to mid‑seize private company.
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
Advanced Excel and Systems skills.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and organizational abilities.
