Job Summary Obsidian Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee both the technical and administrative aspects of Government contract performance. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing all facets of contract execution including schedule, cost, quality of deliverables, and team performance. This role requires strong leadership capabilities to manage a diverse technical workforce involved in systems design, development, test and evaluation, and training.
Specific Responsibilities
Oversee both the technical and administrative aspects of Government contract performance
Ensure timeliness and quality of contract service and data deliverables
Manage and monitor contract schedule and cost to ensure adherence to budget and timeline constraints
Lead and manage a team of skilled professional, technical, and support personnel involved in systems design, development, test and evaluation, and training of systems
Interface effectively with Government customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure satisfaction
Plan, design, coordinate, and control the progress of project work to meet sponsor objectives
Manage a diverse technical workforce and team consisting of multiple skill sets
Deliver quality products on time and within budget
Required Qualifications
Five (5) years of experience in Contract Management
Bachelor's degree required (master's degree preferred)
Active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance required
Demonstrated experience overseeing both technical and administrative aspects of Government contract performance
Proven track record of managing contract schedules, costs, and deliverables
Experience managing teams of skilled professional, technical, and support personnel in systems design, development, test and evaluation, and training
Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with Government customers and deliver quality products on time and within budget
Strong planning, coordination, and project management skills with ability to control progress of project work to meet sponsor objectives
Proven ability to manage diverse technical workforces with multiple skill sets
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Typical office environment with standard computer workstation setup
May require extended periods of sitting and computer use
Ability to attend meetings and travel to customer sites as needed
Travel
Travel may be required up to 10-25% depending on contract requirements and customer location
