The Patient Access Representative is responsible for scheduling, greeting, pre‑registering and registering patients, verifying insurance benefits, checking for authorizations and collecting patient financial responsibility. The role includes professional customer service, timely resolution of customer problems, coordination of services, and communication of revenue cycle related issues to patients and hospital colleagues. Key Responsibilities
Greet patients, families and visitors courteously and answer questions. Pre‑register and register patients, verify insurance benefits and authorizations. Obtain patient signatures for required forms and collect patient financial responsibility. Run estimates and provide accurate financial information. Communicate revenue cycle related issues to patients and hospital colleagues. Coordinate services and resolve customer problems efficiently. Qualifications
High School Diploma required. Patient registration experience preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Benefits
