Role and Responsibilities
Research and resolve insurance denials
File appeals on denied or underpaid claims
Check claim status on appropriate payor sites and contact insurances as needed
Send Medical Records and other documentation to payors as requested
Review of Accounts Receivable Aging reports
Explain insurance benefits, policy requirements, and filing rules to patients.
Physical Demands
frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, talk and hear
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Qualifications
Prior insurance experience preferred
Excellent communication skills
Able to multi-task well
Computer knowledge
