Project Scheduler All Native Group is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the Army Corps of Engineers on Long Island, NY. The Project Scheduler will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, updating, and reporting of the project schedule in accordance with the Contract requirements. The Project Scheduler serves as the authorized representative responsible for all scheduling activities and reports and must utilize Primavera P6 scheduling software in compliance with Government requirements. The Project Scheduler has sole responsibility for all schedule‑related duties for the duration of the Contract.

Essential Functions

Develops schedules exclusively in Oracle Primavera P6

Produces:

.xer export files compatible with Government systems

SDEF‑compliant schedules (per ER 1‑1‑11)

Verifies version compatibility with USACE at the SEKO meeting

Maintains Government‑approved calendars, coding structures, and templates

Prepares the initial project schedule in accordance with the Contract, specifications, and drawings

Maintains, updates, and produces all required schedule updates and reports throughout the duration of the Contract

Provides the Government with a fully completed, detailed, status‑to‑date project schedule

Performs weekly and monthly schedule updates, status reports, and schedule maintenance

Performs schedule queries and prepares and forwards required weekly and monthly reports

May be required by the Government to be present at the contractor’s project site office or trailers as often as needed to support schedule development and maintenance

Holds sole responsibility for schedule updates, status, maintenance, reporting, and schedule health. Scheduling responsibilities shall not be shared with other project roles or responsibilities

Coordination With QC Reports (Often Missed)

Ensure Actual Start (AS) and Actual Finish (AF) dates:

Match Daily Quality Control Reports

Match Contractor QC documentation

Coordinate closely with:

QC Manager

Superintendent

Understand that mismatches can result in schedule disapproval

Coding, WBS, and Data Structure Control

Developing and maintaining WBS structure

Activity coding (WRKP, RESP, AREA, MODF, BIDI, PHAS, CATW, FOW)

Enforcing maximum activities per WBS and proper feature‑of‑work coding tied to QC Plan

Ensuring Government activities (approvals, inspections, NTPs) are captured

Enforce logic rules including:

No start‑to‑finish relationships

No negative lags (leads prohibited)

Lags only with Government approval

No open‑ended logic (except NTP Acknowledged / End Project)

Retained logic (no progress override)

Prevent:

Artificial float

Zero free or zero total float constraints

Improper constraints without CO approval

Cost‑load schedules in accordance with the spec, including:

Design package cost loading

Physical construction activity cost loading only

Closeout activities (punch list, as‑builts, O&M manuals)

Ensure:

No negative cost loading

No front‑end loading

Cost values reconcile exactly to CLIN values

Support Government review, rejection, or approval of cost‑loaded activities

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of experience scheduling construction projects, including at least full residential construction projects

Experience scheduling large industrial or complex facility projects is preferred

The individual must have experience using Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software

The individual must have prepared and maintained at least five (5) construction schedules of similar size and complexity utilizing the most recent version of Oracle Primavera P6

Ability to prepare, maintain, and analyze construction schedules in accordance with Contract requirements

Ability to follow and adhere to Contract requirements, specifications, and drawings related to scheduling

Extensive comprehensive knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles and application

Ability to apply Critical Path Method (CPM) using Precedence Diagram Method (PDM)

Education Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with Primavera P6 Required

Professional scheduling or project controls certifications are preferred

Relevant certifications may include Primavera P6 training or certification,

Project Management Professional (PMP)

Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), or equivalent project controls certifications

Supervisory Responsibility None required for this position.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time

Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly

Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds

Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.

Travel Occasional travel is expected for this position.
