Responsibilities
Manages day‑to‑day healthcare operations of the community to meet resident needs.
Ensures residents are treated with respect, dignity, and quality care as their needs change.
Provides consistent quality care and service delivery throughout all shifts; may assume caregiver or medication tech duties as needed.
Supervises licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA’s, and caregivers; delivers training and education through classroom in‑services and situation‑specific training; manages associate schedules.
Oversees medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision/administration; conducts periodic medication skills inventory checks and medication audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
Provides on‑call duties as required.
Education required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and a minimum of 1–2 years relevant experience.
Qualifications
LPN or LVN license required.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant nursing experience.
State nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) required; education to obtain license required.
