- Direct and manage financial reporting processes, including preparing accurate financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Lead efforts to improve labor cost management and streamline operating expenses.
- Oversee audits, special projects, and business analytics to enhance procedural efficiency.
- Implement financial systems and tools to improve reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness.
- Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership based on financial analysis and performance metrics.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members to encourage growth and attention to detail.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes to ensure robust internal controls are in place.
- Partner with various departments to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
- A minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Proven expertise in financial systems and software, including Oracle and BirchStreet Systems.
- Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting standards.
- CPA certification or an equivalent recognized credential is preferred.
- Experience with condominium or real estate financial operations is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage staff effectively.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
