Bilingual Office Administrator (Part-Time) Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY Schedule: 2–3 days per week Type: Temporary Position 1 to 2 years Languages: Japanese as primary working language; English at business level Overview A Japanese trading company located in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Bilingual Office Administrator to support daily administrative operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English. This is a part-time temporary role ideal for candidates seeking a flexible weekly schedule. Key Responsibilities Provide general administrative and clerical support to office staff. Prepare documents and correspondence; assist with Japanese–English translation or interpretation as needed. Handle data entry, filing, and maintenance of office records. Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and general office organization. Support basic accounting or expense tasks such as invoice checking. Communicate with internal teams, clients, and vendors using both Japanese and English. Perform additional administrative and office support duties as assigned. Requirements High proficiency in Japanese as the primary working language. English at business communication level (written and verbal). Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Prior office administrative experience is required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
