Maron Marvel has an immediate opening for a paralegal to join our team in its Wilmington office. Successful candidates will have exceptional research, writing, and litigation skills.

Responsibilities

Draft routine legal documents

Manage multiple cases from start to trial

Collect documents from various sources

Collect, organize, analyze, and summarize medical records

Review and analyze documents

Conduct various document searches and factual research

Skills

Experience in all phases of litigation from the onset of suit through trial.

Preferable experience in toxic tort litigation, although not required.

Excellent communication skills: able to interact professionally with clients and attorneys.

Excellent writing skills: able to communicate clearly and draft legal documents as requested by attorneys, including but not limited to pleadings, motions, discovery responses and prepare discovery production documents.

Knowledge of all phases of the litigation process and ability to assist attorneys in all phases of the litigation process.

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Proficient in Adobe Professional and Adobe DC.

Self-starter: Ability to work independently and follow up on tasks.

Requirements

Paralegal Certificate required from accredited school.

Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.

Preferable two-plus years' minimum experience as a paralegal.
