As a Staff Accountant on our Tax Advisory and Business Consulting Solutions team, you’ll deliver tax and accounting services to closely held businesses in industries like professional services, healthcare, real estate, and construction.

Responsibilities

Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for closely held businesses, business owners, and individuals (Partnerships, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, and Individuals).

Prepare workpapers and journal entries for clients’ year-end and interim bookkeeping.

Utilize QuickBooks Online for client accounting and reporting.

Manage client-specific compliance deadlines and ensure timely filings.

Identify and implement process improvements by leveraging technology and automation to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Hands‑on experience with accounting and tax software such as CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Engagement, QuickBooks Online, or equivalent systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong ability to leverage technology and software to streamline workflows and automate routine tasks.

Self‑starter with problem‑solving skills and the ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
