We are a busy interpreting service provider looking to onboard hard‑working, fully‑bilingual foreign language interpreters. This role requires
in-person
interpretation for local Nebraska clients, especially in the Lincoln area. Join our exceptional team and enjoy job satisfaction along with flexible hours.
Responsibilities Provide in‑person language interpretation for local Nebraska clients, ensuring strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance as required by healthcare clients.
Qualifications
Fully bilingual in Nuer and English.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Must be an in-person interpreter with reliable transportation to attend local appointments.
Technical skills for learning and using our online portal (including printing and uploading vouchers). Must have access to a printer.
Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.
Background checks and drug screens required.
Schedule is PRN (as needed) part‑time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter’s availability and preferences. Applicants must have some availability Monday‑Friday 7 AM‑5 PM.
Proof of Vaccination Requirement:
As a company providing interpretation services to medical facilities, we require all interpreter candidates to provide proof of vaccination as part of our hiring process. If you have a medical or religious exemption, please inform us, and appropriate accommodations will be considered. Please be prepared to submit your vaccination proof or exemption documentation prior to your interview. All medical information will be handled confidentially in accordance with applicable laws.
