About the Role The Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN) is eager to recruit an AHP2 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic, passionate and collaborative team to help deliver high quality and patient centered care to our community. As a physiotherapist working in the LCLHN you will be provided the opportunity to build on versatile rural generalist skills in a variety of clinical areas across diverse inpatient settings including neurological, orthopaedic, surgical, medical, high dependency, rehabilitation and paediatric care. You will also gain experience through outpatient and community services, managing musculoskeletal, neurological, paediatric, and aged care presentations. Our AHP2 physiotherapists play a pivotal role in supporting and guiding junior physiotherapists, AHA’s and students alike as well as contributing to service evaluation and quality improvement projects.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Provide high quality physiotherapy services across a range of clinical settings with growing autonomy.
Support and guide junior physiotherapists, AHA’s and students.
Contribute to service evaluation and quality improvement projects.
Deliver patient centered practice, ensuring clients are meaningfully involved in all aspects of their care.
Maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills to work positively within a team and develop effective working relationships.
Be willing to travel intra-regionally and contribute to weekend on-call services.
Qualifications
Hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Have at least two years of post‑graduate experience and can demonstrate AHP2‑level competencies.
