Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician
Equipment & Property Maintenance : Apply your maintenance experience to perform repairs, including light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance. Conduct turnover maintenance, property inspections, and repairs to keep properties in top condition.
Technical Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve complex issues in household systems and appliances, drawing on your maintenance background to ensure efficient, high-quality repairs.
Customer Service Excellence : Interact with residents professionally, maintaining a polished appearance and a positive demeanor. A smile is part of your uniform!
Proactive Improvement : Identify opportunities for property enhancements during work orders, contributing to resident satisfaction and property value.
Documentation & Reporting : Use digital tools to log work orders, track progress, and communicate findings effectively.
What It Takes to Succeed
Proven Expertise : Extensive experience in maintenance, with skills in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with maintenance trades (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC) and the ability to apply industrial maintenance techniques to residential settings.
Customer Focus : Patience and strong communication skills to explain technical details to residents and team members in an accessible way.
Reliability & Integrity : Punctual, honest, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Digital Literacy : Comfortable using a smartphone for work order management and reporting.
Requirements
5+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, & reliable transportation.
Your own iPhone and basic hand tools (company provides tool allowance, power tools, and specialty equipment).
