HR Generalist Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is a contract to permanent position offering the opportunity to contribute to various human resources functions, including compliance, recruitment, employee relations, and HR systems management. The ideal candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of HR practices, strong organizational skills, and the ability to foster positive employee relations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee recruitment and staffing processes to ensure the acquisition of top talent.
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and legal regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment laws.
- Administer onboarding processes to integrate new team members effectively into the organization.
- Coordinate benefit programs and assist employees with related inquiries.
- Utilize HRIS systems to manage personnel data and generate reports.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee performance.
- Collaborate with management on workforce planning and organizational development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HR activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations and resolve workplace issues.
- Skilled in recruitment and staffing processes.
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
