Human Resource Generalist

We are partnering with a well-respected client to find a talented Human Resource Generalist to come aboard a high performing team. The HR Generalist is a strategic troubleshooter who aids in daily human resource needs for the specified workforce. This role is essential to maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance, employee education, and day-to-day agency operations.

Major responsibilities:

• Manage the entire onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Coordinate and oversee required screenings and other compliance-related clearances.
• Follow up on missing documentation post-interview to finalize employee records.
• Ensure all employee files and documentation align with federal, state, and agency regulations.
• Present company policies, procedures, and benefits such as 401(k) plans and insurance options to new hires.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for compliance items including IDs, screenings, and insurance documents.
• Monitor employee training schedules, track deadlines, and send reminders to ensure mandatory trainings are completed.

Requirements: The ideal HR Generalist candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. Other requirements for the HR Generalist position include and are not limited to:

• 2+ years' work experience with a strong general administrative background required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish
• Ability to multitask and to be a self-starter.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
