Locum - NP/PA - Emergency Medicine Mt Pleasant, MI

Required Skills:
- Proven experience in Emergency Medicine as an NP or PA
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Cerner EHR system
- Knowledge of trauma protocols and hospital admission procedures
- Ability to respond effectively to ED emergencies, including house codes
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in a Level 4 trauma or similar setting
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Familiarity with hospital transfer protocols
- Experience with ED oversight and supervision
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or relevant specialty
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience in a similar setting
Other Requirements:
- Valid NP or PA license in Michigan
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Covid-19 vaccination, TB test within 12 months, updated immunization records including Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, and Tdap
- Ability to work the scheduled shift: 11 AM 9 PM (Days)
- Able to complete credentialing within approximately 90 days
- Willingness to adhere to hospital policies including timely clock-in/out using DocTime
