Join Our Team as a Locum Advanced Practice Provider in Emergency Medicine Lansing, MI

As a Locum NP/PA, you will play a vital role at McLaren Greater Lansing, supporting the Level 3 Emergency Department and ensuring seamless patient care during your tenure. Required Skills:
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Michigan
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or relevant specialty
- Proven experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or fast track settings
- Ability to work independently with excellent clinical judgment
- Strong documentation skills with proficiency in Cerner EMR or similar systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly in a high-volume environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in Level 3 trauma or ED environments
- Prior experience in a hospital-based fast track or urgent care setting
- Familiarity with pediatric care protocols
- Bilingual skills or additional language proficiencies
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- 2+ years of emergency department or urgent care experience
- Previous locum or temporary staffing experience considered a plus
Other Requirements:
- Immunizations including Hep B, MMR, Varicella (or immune titers), Flu, Covid, TB test within 12 months, Tdap within last 10 years
- Ability to work the scheduled shift from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM starting 01/01/2026
- Willingness to adhere to hospital protocols and documentation policies including clock-in/out via DocTime
- Travel expenses reimbursed according to policy; no third-party lodging arrangements
- Strict compliance with hospital and occupational health requirements
