South Mountain Maintenance – Groundsworker (Temporary)

Job Summary: Perform general golf course grounds and facility maintenance, including snow removal, litter cleanup, pruning, restroom cleaning, signage maintenance, fencing repair, painting, watering, raking, weeding, digging, and other tasks using hand and power tools.
Grass seeding, sod installation, mowing, aerating, and top‑dressing fairways, roughs, tees, and greens.
Minor maintenance and repair: painting, carpentry, electrical, concrete finishing, and other trade skills.
Sand trap maintenance and cup relocation procedures in accordance with USGA recommendations.
Operate light, medium, and specialized equipment as required.
Background Check:
Applicant must pass a pre‑employment background check in accordance with County Human Resources policy.
Temporary Position Details:
At‑will, FLSA non‑exempt employee.
Eligible for a maximum of 29 hours per week or 129 hours per month.
No County benefits.
Not considered merit employees.
May be terminated for any reason without notice.
