Ryder is immediately hiring for Warehouse Associates in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Position Summary
Hourly Pay: $19.00 per hour.
Schedule: First Shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.
Pay Frequency: Weekly.
Position: Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Six months of related warehouse experience required; one year or more preferred.
Knowledge of powered industrial trucks (stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) and the ability to operate and maintain them.
Experience operating manual or automated warehouse equipment (e.g., packaging lines) – intermediate skill preferred.
Powered industrial truck certification required.
Ability to read and perform basic mathematics in English for safety, work instructions, and policies.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Ability to input data into the WMS computer system.
Flexibility to work overtime as assigned.
Strong communication skills; ability to build professional relationships at all organizational levels.
Team player with the ability to work independently.
Highly organized, multi‑tasking, and excellent time‑management skills.
Detail oriented with strong follow‑up practices.
Responsibilities
Package, kit, and assemble orders and materials.
Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers; ensure accurate scanning.
Train dock employees on new procedures and investigate/resolve scanning issues.
Maintain facility security at shift end, investigate issues, and perform housekeeping.
Perform picking and packing duties; inspect for product or container damage.
Execute material moves as per policies and procedures.
Participate in workgroup and team activities to improve warehouse operations.
Carry out additional duties as assigned.
