The Prep Cook at The Lost Wombat is responsible for preparing food ingredients and menu items to the highest standards. This includes following recipes and menus, ensuring the quality and quantity of all ingredients, and adhering to food safety standards. The Prep Cook will also assist with other kitchen duties as needed.

Prepare all food ingredients to exact specifications Follow recipes and menus accurately Ensure quality of all ingredients used in dishes Maintain cleanliness of kitchen throughout shift Adhere to food safety standards, avoid cross-contamination, and store foods properly Assist with other kitchen duties as needed Requirements
Previous experience in a professional kitchen or culinary school preferred Knowledge of food safety standards Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) Excellent attention to detail Ability to work quickly and efficiently
