The Lost Wombat located in historic downtown North Wilkesboro in Wilkes County, NC is currently hiring a server. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly, and customer-oriented server to join our team at The Lost Wombat. In this role, you will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and drinks to customers, and ensuring that all guests have a great dining experience.
Responsibilities
Greet customers as they arrive and seat them at their tables.
Take orders from customers and deliver food and drinks.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Assist in setting up the dining area.
Provide excellent customer service.
Ensure that all customer complaints are addressed promptly.
Clean and clear tables after each guest’s departure.
Ensure that all payment transactions are handled correctly.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Maintain a tidy workstation throughout the shift.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Minimum Job Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time on concrete surfaces.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume of guests
Excellent customer service skills.
Outgoing personality with a lot of energy
Monitor and follow the instructions of the general manager and/or owner.
Basic computer skills.
