The
Sleigh Ride Driver is responsible forthe daily care and handling of horses while providing safe, enjoyable, and informative sleigh ride experiences for guests. This role includes harnessing and caring for horses,preparingandmaintainingsleigh equipment, driving sleighs during guided tours, andassistingwith winter operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working outdoors in winter conditions, and passionate about animal care and guest service. Duties & Responsibilities: Care for horses including feeding, watering, grooming, stall cleaning, and overall welfare. Harness, unharness, and prepare horses for sleigh rides;assistwith setup, breakdown, and basic maintenance of sleighs and equipment. Safely drive sleighs, guide tours, share information with guests, and ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. Interact positively with guests, addressing questions andensuring safety at all times. Assist with guest shuttling, snow removal, radio communication, and general winter maintenance as needed. Qualifications: Friendly, outgoing, patient, and a positive attitude. Experience with large animals (horses) is crucial. Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy conditions for extended periods. Dependability for scheduled tours and guest safety. Clear communication with guests and team members. Engage in physical activities like standing forlong periods, walking, andutilizinghands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching. Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. First Aid/CPR preferred. Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
