Job Overview
We are looking for a Housekeeper to provide a clean, safe and cheerful environment for senior age residents, staff and visitors at our Assisted Living Memory Care building in Burnsville, MN.
This full-time
Housekeeper
position includes:
80 hours every two weeks
Day shift
No weekends
Arbor Lane Memory Care and Specialty Care Assisted Living emphasizes the total well-being of our residents in a warm, newly updated and comfortable home. Our comfortable community is designed to accommodate those who become disoriented or may wander. We include a long tenured staff who believes in our mission to help seniors to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives.
Responsibilities
Cleans resident and common areas of community asassigned, including floor care
Assists with light maintenance tasks and cleaning emergency spills as needed
Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
Assists residents with laundry as requested
Ensures timely and efficient turnover of apartments
Performs job duties safely, using accurate body mechanics and protective equipment
Promotes a safe environment for staff, residents and visitors
Required Skills
Ability to work independently, show attention to detail, multi-task and maintain confidentiality
Able to work in varying environmental conditions, along with cleaning human/bodily fluids or waste
Able to understandand follow verbal and written communication including policies/procedures and safety sheets.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Work experience in cleaning or a similar environment
