This role is
full time and hours of operation are 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m ., helping ensure patients and families receive a smooth, supportive experience during an important stage of care. Since 1978,
Trustbridge Hospice
has cared for more than 200,000 South Florida families. As a community-based nonprofit, we provide 24/7 hospice and palliative care, along with caregiver support and bereavement services for families facing serious illness. What You’ll Do Provide compassionate, spiritual, and emotional support to patients and families that are facing end‑of‑life, grief, and crisis situations. Coordinate spiritual care services with community clergy to ensure patients and families receive appropriate, individualized religious or spiritual support. Deliver spiritual counseling and guidance within diverse and ecumenical settings, including care for the dying and bereaved. Maintain accurate, timely, and concise documentation of patient records Participate in bereavement and community events, support organizational mission and goals, and adapt to environments that may include exposure to pets and smoke. in
Ministry
from an accredited college, university or divinity school;
or
shall have completed at least one
Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
unit with an emphasis in health care ministry in addition to applicable ministerial training and experience. A minimum of 1 year
of related full time experience in pastoral service to individuals and families. Expertise in spiritual counseling, crisis intervention, family systems, grief resolution and ministry of ecumenical settings. Experience in spiritual care for the dying and bereaved. Works effectively under stress. Ability to provide accurate, clear and concise documentation for patient charting. Attend Bereavement or Community events held off‑shift which support organizational mission and goals.
