Responsibilities
Greet and assist guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a welcoming experience for all.
Efficiently manage night operations, balancing accounts and handling guest inquiries with precision.
Maintain accurate records of guest transactions and ensure all financial reports are completed by morning.
Collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any guest concerns promptly.
Monitor hotel security systems during the night shift to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests.
Provide personalized recommendations for local attractions and dining options to enhance the guest experience.
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs smoothly, ensuring all billing and reservation details are accurate and up-to-date.
Make sure every hotel guest has a pleasant stay.
Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages.
Qualifications
Ability to manage financial records with precision, including room charges and credit card transactions.
Proven track record of handling guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Proficiency in using hotel management software to maintain accurate guest and financial records.
Ability to work independently during night shifts, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Experience in monitoring security systems to ensure guest safety and comfort throughout the night.
Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required.
Proficiency with computers is required; experience with reservation and accounting software is desired.
Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours.
Diploma or equivalent from high school is required; some college is desired.
Compensation $15 - $17 hourly
