FAA-Approved Repair Station located in Springfield, MO, seeking an
experienced Avionics Technician The Avionics Tech is directly responsible to the Avionics Manager and GM for the performance of the Avionics Installations and Repairs Department. Performing aircraft maintenance to include inspecting, repairing, modifying, and troubleshooting aircraft in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures, and requirements, to ensure the functionality of electronic and electrical systems to ensure airworthiness. Pay is negotiable based on experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Knowledge, Maintenance, and Preventative Maintenance of the aircraft's electronic and electrical systems, including but not limited to dismantling, repairing, fabricating, altering, and maintaining all machinery, ramp equipment, buildings, and hangars. Electrical troubleshooting Support Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, as required Adhering to all technical data and instructions for each job function, using proper procedures, methods, and practices to produce airworthy work. Able to process work with minimum supervision as job duties may vary each day. Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines. The ability to work with others in a professional manner on multiple projects in a cooperative manner. WORKING CONDITIONS
The majority of work will be accomplished in a heated hangar, if available. Work outside during aircraft runs Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail. Must be able to use a computer for word processing, data entry, and research. Experience
Avionics: 1 year (Preferred) Knowledge of and experience with the following aircraft is preferred, but not required: Embraer EMB-120, EMB-135/145; Fairchild SA226/227; Saab SF340A/B, S2000; Beechcraft King Air, any general aviation experience.
