Right At School
Join Right At School as an Educator and help provide local school districts with engaging before‑ and after‑school programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment.
Pay Rate:
$17.00-$20.00 (based on education and experience)
Program Hours:
Monday-Friday 6:45am-8:30am and 2:15pm-6:30pm
Responsibilities
Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration and team accountability.
Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum that align with the program’s objectives, leading structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum.
Leading by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, follow all safety protocols, document attendance, incidents, and observations.
Communication: Effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
Qualifications
Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
Works well in a team environment.
At least 2 years of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
Ability to lift 25lbs.
Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
New York State Requirements
Meet state‑specific requirements.
First Aid and CPR – in person.
Cleared tuberculosis test.
Proof of MMR.
18 + years of age.
Proof of high school diploma/GED required.
Substantial experience working with children under 13 years of age (3‑5 years).
