Responsibilities
Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
Cook food and prepare top‑quality menu items in a timely manner
Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
Prep and assemble food orders according to Executive Chef's standards
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
Assist with overall kitchen workflow and cooperate with kitchen staff
Physical Requirements
Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.
Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time
Maintain a professional appearance in a clean uniform
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Be able to work at a fast pace and execute tasks quickly and consistently
Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
Positive outlook and outgoing personality
Preferred Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
Food Safety Certified
Previous kitchen experience is a big plus
Knowledge of knife cuts and basic cooking procedures
