TRC Fabrication is a leading provider of steel fabrication services, committed to delivering high-quality products to Structural and Architectural industries.
With a reputation for excellence, we are looking to expand our team by hiring a skilled and motivated Industrial Painter.
As an Industrial Painter at TRC, you will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing steel structures and other fabrication products.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, solid knowledge of industrial coatings, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sandblasting, and priming steel components.
Apply industrial coatings (paint, primer, epoxy, etc.) to steel products using spray equipment, rollers, and brushes.
Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring coatings are smooth, consistent, and free from defects.
Maintain proper application techniques and ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times.
Mix paints and coatings according to specification, ensuring consistency and proper coverage.
Work closely with other team members to meet production schedules.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Adhere to all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an industrial painter, preferably in a steel fabrication environment.
Knowledge of different types of industrial coatings and their applications.
Ability to work with various painting equipment and tools (spray guns, sanders, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in varying positions.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial painting.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and other technical documents.
Ability or knowledge of how to navigate and read SDS and PDS sheets
