St. William’s Catholic School is seeking a creative, passionate, and faith-filled part Art Teacher. This teacher will inspire students in grades K-8 through engaging, developmentally appropriate art lessons while also supporting our mission to form students in mind, body, and soul.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver weekly art instruction for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
Introduce students to a wide variety of materials, techniques, and art history appropriate to their age and abilities.
Create a welcoming classroom environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and respect for others’ work.
Incorporate Catholic values and themes into some art projects throughout the year, helping students explore the beauty of faith through artistic expression.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and administration on school-wide events, art displays, and special projects.
Maintain a safe, organized art space and manage classroom behavior positively and effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
A teaching license is appreciated but not required
Willing to support and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Enthusiasm for working with children of all ages in a faith-based school environment.
Position Details
Part-time position (approximately 2-3 days per week)
Follows the academic school year calendar (August-May)
