The General Laborer will be responsible for overseeing and performing tasks in multiple but smaller departments. Tasks include mechanical repairs, welding, and non-CDL driving.

Industries Municipal Water, Wastewater Treatment, Sewer Bypass, Lift station bypass, dewatering, construction dewatering, fluid transfer, Industrial maintenance, Utilities, infrastructure, and Environmental.
Responsibilities
Perform light mechanical work on equipment.
Diagnose, repair, and perform general maintenance on equipment.
Perform preventive/predictive maintenance procedures on equipment.
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed.
Assist with delivering equipment rentals to various customer locations in company-owned vehicles.
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
Inspect welds for accuracy.
Clean, organize, and maintain the shop and shop equipment.
Desired Experience
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to pass Pre-Employment Background Check.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Compensation Starting at $18.00 per hour
Skills
Familiar with pressure washers.
Ability to perform MIG and Stick Welds.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. at a time and performing physical requirements of the position.
Familiar with hand tools, plasma cutter, and cutting torches.
Alert, focused, and detail oriented.
Education High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
