As a Field Support Technician, you are the primary contact for our customers, improving relationships by resolving commercial and technical issues. You will handle on‑site installation, diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems, often working independently or with a team. Based in southern Ohio, you will report to the Territory Services Manager and may work from home when not at a customer site.
Your Responsibilities
Provide customer support through on‑site installation, diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
Perform project management for customer projects including needs identification, scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
Develop and write documentation such as validation project plans, standard operating procedures, qualification summary reports, system audits, technical reports, and traceability matrices.
Essentials – You Will Have
High school diploma or GED.
Legal authorization to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).
Ability to travel 50% of the time.
A valid driver’s license.
Preferred – You Might Also Have
4+ years of related experience.
Experience in industrial automation across sectors such as automotive, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, metals, or water/wastewater.
Knowledge of Low Voltage PowerFlex Drives or Medium Voltage Drives.
PLC programming experience using RSLogix 5/500/5000 and FactoryTalk Studio.
Experience with Studio5000, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and PowerFlex products.
Proficiency with Ethernet/IP, Stratix switches, servo/motion control, and networks such as EtherNet, ControlNet, and DeviceNet.
