Overview

Open & closing dates: 10/21/2025 – 11/03/2025 Salary: $18.58–$21.68 per hour, Step 1 rate applies. NAF pay setting rules apply. Location: Anniston, AL (Remote job); no telework, no travel required. Appointment type: Intermittent – FLEX with no guaranteed hours, not eligible for NAF benefits. Work schedule: Intermittent – rotating shifts, nights, weekends, flexible.

Duties

Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank, and stocks service bar. Maintains adequate stock levels, sets up storeroom and work area for easy access to stock items. Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff; records sales, makes change, and prepares charge slips; keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary. Identifies persons who become unruly or appear intoxicated, resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements (Conditions of Employment)

Direct Deposit and Social Security Card required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. One‑year probationary period may be required. Complete an employment verification (E‑Verify) check. Complete a minimum of 4 ServeSafe Food Handlers and Alcohol safety training and certification within 30 days of employment, plus a 4‑hour refresher training annually. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks, including a medical examination. Complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally‑controlled facilities. Meet state/local age requirements, 21 years of age, to serve alcohol at the time of appointment.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or fewer) and clearly demonstrate the applicant’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages.
