Front Desk Positions
Mornings: 5:45‑10am Mon‑Sat
Afternoons: 10am‑4pm Mon‑Sat
Nights: 4pm‑Close (9pm Mon‑Thu, 8pm Fri, 7pm Sat)
Sunday: 10:15am‑2:45pm
Shifts may be flexible.
Recreation Specialist The recreation specialist works with the Program Coordinator to ensure that programs run smoothly. Responsibilities include running practices for the Rookie League, refereeing games, score‑keeping, and helping set up and take down programming equipment. This position is mostly on Saturdays with potential hours in the middle of the week for training or event support. It is a great opportunity for part‑time work or for those interested in recreation.
Childcare / Teachers / Bus Drivers
Mornings, Days, and Nights
Various hours for pre‑school field trips
Drivers for school pick‑up/drop‑off and field trips
Custodians
Mornings, Days, Nights, and Weekends
Special Programs
Fitness, classes, Jr. Jazz, and Adult Basketball League

Lifeguards
Applicants must be 15+ years old
Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods
Must pass a swim screening test
Must be able to lift heavy weight for short periods
Shift blocks: Monday‑Friday 5:45am‑12:00pm; Monday‑Friday 3:45pm‑9:00pm; Saturday 7:45am‑7:00pm; Sunday 10:00am‑2:30pm
Swim Instructors
Applicants must be 16+
Must pass a swim screening test
Must work with children ages 3‑14
Must provide a safe learning environment and follow program standards
Swim lessons are taught year‑round; classes may be Tuesday & Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings, or weekday mornings during the summer
Employer Requirements Due to the nature of some of these positions, selected applicants must pass a required pre‑employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
These are temporary, at‑will, FLSA non‑exempt employees who are not eligible for County benefits and must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or 129 hours or less per month.

Are not eligible for County benefits, except as otherwise provided by policy
Are not considered merit employees
Are at‑will employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre‑termination hearing
