Summary ENS is seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our strong, collaborative team supporting children and their families. We firmly believe in
“Learning Through Play,”
focusing on meeting children at their current developmental stage while providing enriching activities to help them reach their next milestone.
This role requires availability Monday – Friday, with shifts of either 7:30 am – 2:30 pm or 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Duties
Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
Encourage self‑help.
Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
Follow all center policies and state regulations.
Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
Minimum of 1–2 years of professional experience with children.
Worked with young children in a childcare setting.
Ability to work well with others.
Computer proficient.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
A strong understanding of child development.
Must clear full background check and pass health screening.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must provide three references.
Nice to Haves
Experience with the Creative Curriculum.
CPR/First Aid Certification.
CDA.
Organized.
Leader.
