Key Responsibilities
Deburr and finish machined components using hand tools, rotary tools, and other deburring equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, nicks, and surface defects.
Work closely with machinists, quality inspectors, and assembly teams to meet part specifications.
Ensure proper handling and protection of precision parts during the finishing process.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in deburring or a related precision manufacturing role (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to use microscopes, calipers, and other inspection tools.
Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry standards (AS9100, ISO 13485, etc.) is a plus.
Must be a team player with good communication skills.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
