Do you enjoyhelping with fun activities for senior citizens? Sunflower Communities isseeking a dedicated Activities/Life Enrichment Assistant for our assistedliving facility in Elmore, MN! You'll support our staff and residents bycarrying out enriching activities that promote community involvement andenhance the quality of life for our residents.
We are looking for someonewith a positive attitude, a passion for activities, and a love for meeting andinteracting with people.
Get ourresidents active and engaged with
fishing trips, outings to the mall, andvisits to local entertainment spots . Our creative team also organizes
armchairtravel experiences, interactive cooking classes, arts and crafts sessions,gardening clubs, musical events, and themed parties.
We are dedicated toproviding fun and enriching activities that keep our seniors active,entertained, and connected to the community.
Leadvolunteer-based activities and programs that enrich the lives of AssistedLiving and Memory Care residents.
Collaboratewith other departments and leaders to develop and maintain relationshipswith local schools, businesses, and social organizations to establish anactive network of volunteers and community resources.
Helpmaintain a calendar of activities and events that provide a variety ofresident and family-centered experiences.
Assistwith transportation duties when going off-site to events and outings.
Priorexperience in Activities in Senior Living
- At least one year of job-related experience preferably in a seniorliving environment.
Provenability to train and motivate volunteers and fellow team members toprovide the best in quality activity programming.
Knowledgeof local state and federal regulations pertaining to resident care andservices.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) with the ability to learnnew applications.
Abilityto work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of residents and staff.
