About the Role
A leading commercial contractor is seeking a Safety Officer to support active construction projects. This role focuses on maintaining safety standards, conducting site inspections, and partnering with project teams to promote a strong safety culture. Experience in MEP environments or data center projects is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular on-site safety inspections and hazard identification
Monitor compliance with company, client, and OSHA safety standards
Lead safety trainings (PPE, equipment use, hazard mitigation)
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
Prepare and maintain safety documentation (AHAs, PTPs, reports)
Provide end-to-end safety coverage for assigned projects
Qualifications
OSHA 30 certification (required)
1–4 years of experience in construction safety or related trade work
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices
Experience supporting commercial construction projects preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
$83,000 - $100,000 a year
