Responsibilities
Provide high quality and engaging instruction in first- and second-year Business courses, including Accounting I & II, First Year Seminar, Introduction to Business, Business Math, Small Business Practices, Computer Information Systems, and International Business.
Teach junior- and senior-level courses in the Bachelor of Applied Science: Professional Studies program (e.g., Personal Finance, Management and Organizations, Introduction to Marketing, Business Ethics).
Equate to a teaching load of 30 credits/year (15 credits/semester).
Assist in on-going curriculum development and assessment.
Deliver instruction via distance delivery methods.
Develop course syllabi and varied instruction techniques promoting learning outcomes.
Evaluate student performance and achievement of course, program, and college learning outcomes.
Recommend appropriate texts and teaching aids.
Participate in academic advising, hold office hours, and support registration.
Serve on college committees and participate in program, division, and department meetings.
Engage in personal and professional development to maintain high content knowledge.
Demonstrate mutual respect and promote productive working relationships.
Support program articulations with schools and colleges, college-wide assessment, and accreditation standards.
Assist as needed and participate in college activities.
