Role Summary/Key Objectives The Workshop Technician is involved with all aspects of workshop operations and is responsible for the completion of work orders related to the maintenance, repair/refurbishment and mobilization/demobilization of CTS, RMR, MPC and EC-Drill® equipment in support of Enhanced Drilling projects.

Area of Responsibility WORKSHOP OPERATIONS

Complete Work Order tasks professionally and accurately in line with global workshop processes and procedures.

Create, action and close out Work Orders including all reporting requirements.

Ensure that all work is completed in a safe manner to you, the team and all other EDR employees, contractors and third parties.

Keep the workshop maintained and tidy at all times.

Troubleshoot and rectify technical equipment issues.

Carry out duties in the most cost effective way possible and suggest cost saving initiatives where appropriate.

Continually improve the performance and efficiency of the workshop to reduce turnaround time on equipment maintenance and refurbishment activities.

Assist in carrying out periodic maintenance on various EDR equipment systems.

Assist with SPM re-builds, re‑termination of umbilical winches, wet testing, testing of mud return lines and hard wall hosing.

Complete acceptance checklists and coordinate equipment return from client sites.

Training and mentoring EDR personnel, contractors and third parties with workshop related duties.

Operate Forklift and Crane (Overhead/Jib) equipment.

Perform work tasks in different discipline areas as well as different location as required.

HSEQ & REPORTING

Follow HSEQ procedures according to EDR Management System.

Observe and report non‑conformances through the Synergi system.

Active participation in HSEQ monthly walk around including documenting the findings.

Timely and accurate reporting on relevant documentation.

Complete project packing lists and coordinate equipment mobilization to client sites.

Assist with the implementation of new global initiatives as required.

INVENTORY

Stock and inventory control (in & out).

Perform warehouse tasks and stock management activities.

Implement the policies and procedures for receipt inspection activities.

Competence

Certificate of apprenticeship as either mechanic or electrician, preferred or minimum of 2 years experience in the area/expertise.

Effective communicator in English (written and verbal).

Experience in workshop operations.

Competence and understanding of offshore operations, HSEQ requirements & subsea drilling equipment & systems.

Experience working to ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 standards preferred.

Strong commitment to HSE and continual improvement through quality processes.

Good personnel skills and positive work attitude to daily activities.

Effective team player and can work independently.

Ability to work independently.

Proactive, innovative and effective trouble shooter.

Ethical and trustworthy.

HSE Responsibilities

Comply with all Enhanced Drilling HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Actively participate in HSE training, safety meetings, and audits.

Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses.

Support Enhanced Drilling’s “Zero Harm” culture and demonstrate safety leadership.

Stop any work that appears unsafe and elevate as necessary.

Conduct pre‑task checks and participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Operate tools and machinery safely and per OEM guidance.

Support environmental compliance and waste management.

Other

Within local region as necessary.

Offshore as required.
