Job Title: Student Assistant - Technology Event Production Assistant Location: UWG Recruiting Location Regular/Temporary: Temporary Full/Part Time: Part-Time Job ID: 292434
Job Summary Tech Production Assistants (TPAs) will work various live events on campus, including commencements, sports, student affairs, and special events. TPAs will operate various audio/visual equipment, such as cameras, audio mixers/mics/speakers, video switchers/playback machines, etc.
Required Qualifications
Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade‑point average.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Must be able to lift 25lbs.
Sit/stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous live event production experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of audio-visual equipment (sound systems, cameras, projectors, etc.).
Must have some knowledge of broadcast operations.
