Responsibilities
Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage stopped‑out students and recruit them to return to UWG to complete their degree.
Provide holistic support to students in developing degree completion plans, collaborating with academic units, advising, CAS, Student Financial Services, and the Registrar.
Offer proactive, ongoing support to students as needed, helping them navigate curricular and other academic and financial services.
Monitor progress of returned students; maintain a database and track strategic/process revisions.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree.
Experience working with college students in an academic context (advising, academic coaching, instruction, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with the institutional structure typical of higher education academic affairs and with higher education curriculum.
Proposed Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually (paid monthly).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Effective oral and written communication skills with adaptability for different audiences.
Strong understanding of higher education institutions and functions of different divisions.
Self‑directed and proactive approach to curriculum planning for students, considering goals, constraints, and university services.
Aptitude for managing multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail.
Collaborative mindset and experience working across multiple departments.
Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 15 lbs; typical office environment.
