RN/LPN – Bronson Commons (Mattawan, MI) – Part‑time, 12‑hour Night Shift
This RN/LPN role is part‑time, 12‑hour night shift, 48 hours per week, with a sign‑on bonus up to $12,500.
Location: Bronson Commons, Mattawan, MI.
Responsibilities
Implement and coordinate care delivery for residents throughout the length of stay to achieve quality outcomes and timely discharge.
Implement selected aspects of physical care within scope of professional nursing practice as appropriate given resident acuity and complexity of care required.
Utilize nursing process principles in meeting specific needs of residents, coordinating care with other interdisciplinary team members, delegating selected acts, tasks or functions within scope and abilities of CNA, and documenting and communicating resident response to care.
Gather information and data related to the resident’s physical and psychosocial needs.
Document nursing history and review vital signs to assess condition of resident and detect deviations from normal.
Utilize resident/family input when defining outcomes and incorporating resident values, ethical and cultural considerations.
Coordinate discharge planning for outcomes not achieved utilizing the continuum of care available.
Implement appropriate interventions: administer prescribed medication and treatment in accordance with approved nursing techniques and policies, utilize evidence‑based interventions specific to resident plan, maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs, initiate resident education plan, manage care plan by organizing and delegating resident care interventions, evaluate effectiveness of care given by self and others, incorporate Clinical Practice Guidelines into plan when appropriate, develop individualized interventions with patient, family, and staff input.
Evaluate progress toward attainment of expected outcomes, evaluate effectiveness of planned interventions and resident response toward achievement of expected outcomes.
Ability to rotate to all units within the facility based on facility needs.
Qualifications
Basic computer skills required.
Ability to read, interpret, and analyze data from various computer systems and equipment in order to set an appropriate plan of action.
Must be able to constantly communicate verbally, in writing, and electronically.
High school diploma or GED and successful completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
Licensed LPN in good standing with the state of Michigan.
BLS competency required by completion of core orientation.
Successful completion of Hospital, Core, and Department‑specific orientation based upon unit and experience level.
Completed required education, attends staff meetings, skills fair, and completes computer‑based learning as directed.
Accepts responsibility of on‑call expectations.
