Position Overview We are seeking reliable and hardworking
Snow Shovelers
to join our team on an
as-needed basis . Employees will be contacted and scheduled when snow is expected. This role is essential in ensuring safe and accessible stairways during winter weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Snow removal: Shovel and clear snow from staircases, walkways, and designated areas.
Team collaboration: Work closely with other shovelers to maintain approximately
50 staircases
across the property.
Ice management: Apply salt or de-icing materials as directed to prevent slippery conditions.
Safety compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate gear while working in winter conditions.
Reliability: Be available to report to work promptly when contacted during snow events.
Schedule & Compensation
On-call basis: Work assignments will be scheduled only when snow is expected.
Flexible hours:ifts may vary depending on snowfall and weather conditions.
Competitive pay: Hourly rate provided; details discussed during hiring.
Requirements
Physical stamina: Ability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive movements in cold weather.
Teamwork skills: Willingness to coordinate with others to cover large areas efficiently.
Dependability: Must be punctual and responsive to on-call scheduling.
Experience preferred: Prior snow removal or outdoor labor experience is helpful but not required.
