Pay Rate: $18.00/hr to $20.00/hr BOE

Shift: On-Call / As-Needed

Description We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for the position of Snow Shoveler. This critical role is an on-call / as-needed position, with the schedule entirely dependent upon winter weather conditions and snowfall events. The ideal candidate must be available to respond quickly when called upon, work outdoors for extended periods in all weather, and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks to ensure safe and clear walking surfaces.

Snow Shoveler Duties and Responsibilities

Shovel snow from designated walkways, sidewalks, stairs, entryways, and other assigned areas.

Spread salt or ice melt on surfaces as needed to ensure safe, slip-free walking conditions.

Safely and efficiently operate shovels and other basic snow removal hand tools.

Maintain paths according to site-specific requirements and safety standards.

Work diligently in cold, snowy, icy, and challenging outdoor weather conditions.

Follow all established safety guidelines and instructions provided by supervisors.

Arrive promptly and ready to work when notified for snow removal events.

Snow Shoveler Qualifications and Requirements

Ability to lift 25–50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor (standing, bending) for extended periods.

Comfortable and willing to work outdoors in all winter weather conditions (cold, snow, ice).

Must be dependable and able to respond quickly when notified for work (on-call / as-needed schedule).

Willingness to follow safety guidelines and instructions.

Prior snow shoveling or general outdoor labor experience is helpful but not mandatory.
