Courier II – AnMed, Anderson, SC
Summary Responsible for driving vehicle, providing courier service for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Will be picking up and delivering blood, specimens, supplies, and files.
Responsibilities
Correctly transports specimens/parcels to ensure integrity.
Promptly picks up and transports specimens/parcels with minimal delays.
Transports drug(s) ensuring chain of custody until delivered to the appropriate destination.
Demonstrates knowledge of all courier routes and assists with route rearrangement as needed.
Demonstrates good judgment in dealing with client requests, acting within department guidelines.
Communicates well with clients and staff, exhibiting a positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.
Maintains constant awareness of the vehicle condition, reporting any unsafe condition or unusual noise/vibration, and performs accurate vehicle checklists.
Adheres to AnMed policies regarding attendance, breaks, lunches, and time off.
Maintains a clean and presentable vehicle, both interior and exterior.
Qualifications HS diploma/GED, valid South Carolina driver’s license, good time management skills.
