Who We're Looking For BDES is hiring a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst Specialist (BCBA) to provide high‑quality, evidence‑based ABA therapy to children with autism. Our clinicians deliver individualized, person‑centered care rooted in assent‑based treatment. Parents and caregivers are partners on our mission to nurture every child’s potential for school and life success. We offer reasonable billable expectations and a $5k signing bonus.

About Us For more than 25 years, Behavioral Development and Education Services (BDES) has delivered ABA and behavioral services to over 500 students in 20+ elementary and middle schools across the greater New Bedford, MA School District.

BDES provides school services that help children build essential skills and achieve academic success, plus family counseling, IEP development, and consultation with families and school administrators.

As a Behavior Analyst Specialist at BDES, you’ll have experienced local clinical leadership and support, and be part of LEARN Behavioral—a collective group of ABA providers delivering collaborative care nationwide. LEARN employs over 500 BCBAs in 18 states.

What You Have

Master’s degree or higher

BCBA certification

Minimum of two years of experience as a BCBA

Certification, registration, and/or license as required by local statutes

Exceptional professional, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and vocal)

Bonus: interest in research, specifically functional analysis, verbal behavior, feeding, and other topics.

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide oversight and supervision for your team and clients

Mentor and support behavior technicians (BTs) (all BTs receive competency‑based training)

Write reports and conduct clinical reviews with funding sources

Attend monthly regional meetings for ongoing training and supervision

Conduct regular parent/caregiver trainings for families

Ensure safety of clients and others involved in each case as a top priority

Consult with clients and provide continuous program direction and maintenance

Analyze data/behavior and make data‑based decisions

Guide ongoing implementation of teaching procedures

Ensure program directives from senior clinical team are implemented accurately and timely

Deliver individualized, person‑centered care rooted in assent‑based treatment principles
