Domino's Pizza is hiring delivery drivers. This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth, from entry-level delivery to management, franchise ownership, or corporate positions.
Responsibilities
Deliver pizza, beverages, flyers, and door hangers to customers within the designated delivery area.
Operate the company vehicle safely and comply with traffic laws.
Navigate using maps and GPS to locate addresses, including multi‑story buildings, stairs, and private homes.
Assist with in‑store duties: operate equipment, stock ingredients, prepare product, process telephone orders, take inventory, and clean facilities.
Handle payments accurately, provide excellent customer service, and maintain professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
Minimum age of 18 years.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
Strong navigational skills and ability to read maps.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including navigating stairs and multi‑story buildings.
Basic math skills for handling payments and making correct change.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for customer interactions.
Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries or outside tasks.
In‑store temperature ranges from 36°F in cooler areas to over 90°F in some work zones.
Potential contact with food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, and sharp edges.
Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs.
